I was lucky – I was raised in a family that owned a business, so at an early age I was exposed to many real estate renovation and new construction projects. That led to my interest in learning as much as I could about the process of acquiring land, working through various approvals, and ultimately, the construction of a new home or building.
By the time I was 18 years old, I acquired an acre of land and had my first home built.
Since then, I’ve acquired, built, and/or renovated several properties over the years in the Canandaigua area. In 1984, I went into the real estate business as a full time Realtor – and I’ve been very actively involved in the business in the Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes area ever since.
I owned and managed an independent Real Estate brokerage for several years before opening RE/MAX Properties in Canandaigua as Broker/Owner.
One of the most important lessons I learned at an early age was that treating clients with the respect they deserve -- and good old-fashioned hard work -- is what it takes to be successful.
